A 1963 Gibson Les Paul Junior!

1963 Gibson Les Paul Junior  (SG model) with one P90 pickup.  The P90 ‘’Dog Ear’’ pickup on this guitar soundsHotter than Hell, everything on this instrument is originalincluding the Les Paul Logo on the headstock. There is some cool lacquer checking on the body that has the much desired thick baseball bat neck (also responsible for the fat sound).The ‘’smaller’’ pickguard (on the later SG models these got bigger) is original. The body is Cherry Red and has thecompensated wraparound bridge, the neck has no binding and no cracks.

The instrument has no breaks, big cracks or other damages. 

This is a gorgeous, true vintage 1963 Gibson Les Paul Junior that is in great condition for its age! 

It is a transitional model so it has the Les Paul Junior Model logo on the headstock, but the SG body.

Everything from the look and feel to the phenomenal vintage sound of this guitar is beyond appealing, making it highly desirable. The neck offers that perfect 60s wide feel, the deep beveled body edges are perfectly shaped and the P-90 sounds incredible

Body: Solid, contoured mahogany body in cherry finish. Original wrap-around tailpiece, skirted control knobs with silver inserts and a 2-ply black pickguard. 

Neck: Wide mahogany neck with a beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Three-on-a-strip Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners with ivoroidbuttons, 24 ¾” scale length.

Pickups/Electronics: Original Dog Ear P-90 pickup in the bridge position with master volume and tone controls.
